Random, but on holiday in Albania in 2022, my Italian-speaking partner got chatting to an Italian guy whose best pal had opened in London that was absolutely must try and tell the owner he sent us - it was 2veneti! We've yet to visit but this has prompted me to book it in x
But also amazing! Ask for Simon and Patrizia (the owners) when you’re there and you can say I sent you. As well as your holiday pal. They will really look after you, they’re such gorgeously kind people ❤️
I’ve just started On the Clock by Claire Baglin (Daunt). It’s a slim novel about the mundanity of working in a fast food restaurant. It’s French so that elevates it (but translated, I’m not that sophisticated) I don’t read enough novels, but I’m enjoying it so far, you might like it. 😎

And wonderful to hear - thank you!
Omg this is random!
Haha it is!
I think you’ll find that’s not actually very Scottish at all. Scottish people do not, as a rule, ride bikes.
😂 😂 😂

You know me so well, Michael. This sounds VERY up my street. Also am about to dive into both Monsters and Bad Taste. Looking forward to discussing!!
